Meet Meghan
Hi! I’m Meghan Bower, sole owner of Simply Stated Public Relations.
After completing a master’s degree in journalism in 2011, I had an exciting 11-year public relations career with the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bears. These opportunities gave me a chance to experience media and public relations on some of the biggest stages, lead storytelling and promotion of both teams’ work in the community, and collaborate with media in one of the most competitive markets to cover everything from Stanley Cup parades to how Bears players were working to improve the lives of youth on the South and West sides of Chicago.
Following the pandemic, I was ready for a change in scenery, which led to me taking a remote corporate communications role with a Fortune 500 retailer and moving to the Southeast. After spending time in Knoxville, Tenn., and Savannah, Ga., I returned home to the Midwest in 2025 and launched Simply Stated PR.
Throughout my career and journey, I’ve had the opportunity to partner with small businesses, nonprofits, local and state government officials, professional athletes, and C-suite executives, while also building relationships with a lot of hardworking, kind, and wonderful people.
